Dr Yew received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery(BDS) from International Medical University(IMU) in 2013. During his undergraduate study,he won third prize in 3M ESPE Prosthodontic Case Presentation and his main research was selected into the final in Asia Pacific Dental Congress, National Dental Students’ Scientific Conference and International Association for Dental Research Malaysian Section respectively.
